Lower Back Strengthening Exercise

This lumbar strengthening exercise works the lumbar muscles and other deep muscles of the lower back.

By practicing this back strengthening exercise regularly, you are working the muscles that support the spine without forcing it to make movements that it should not make when you stand or sit upright.

Flexible and strong lower back muscles help maintain a natural posture and prevent lower back pain.

Lying on your back, you fold your legs and let your knees go to one side and then to the other, using your lumbar muscles to slow down and control the movement.

Avoid going too fast or too far with your knees,
And continue to breathe normally.
